My name is Calysta but you can call me Callie!
From 9 AM to 5 PM, I’m a dedicated manager of a marketing team at Boomtown Casino in Reno, Nevada. From 5 PM to 9 PM, I’m a fitness enthusiast, a personal chef, a social media expert, and a graduate student.
I first discovered a passion for the marketing field after switching college majors three times. I have always had an eye for creativity and expression. I chased this passion with the determination to be successful.
Along with my passion for creativity came my passion for connecting. Sports have always been a part of my life and, therefore, molded me into a competitive extrovert. I love competition and team projects. I believe that marketing and people skills go hand in hand when wanting to be a successful entrepreneur.
I believe I have set myself up for success with a positive mindset. From my volunteer work to my current position, I’ve learned and practiced leadership roles, project management, and content development. I’d like to think of myself as a sponge, soaking in all the knowledge I can learn to reach my main goal in life – being an inspiration for others.
